Amy Smart is an American former model and actress. Amy Smart was brought up in California, America. Amy Smart began modelling in Italy. In 1996 she debuted as an actor in the TV movie Her Costly Affair. After that, she was a star in a small role in the movie Starship Troopers she struggled very for a long time. It was a hard time for her to make the transition from modelling to acting as the models were never believed to be actors, and they were usually given smaller and inconsequential parts. Amy did not give up. Her first major roles were in The 70s followed by Varsity Blues. Amy was then promoted to lead parts in 2005's romance film Just Friends starring Ryan Reynolds. Amy gained recognition after more than 10 years of struggling. Amy continued to make important films, including the Crank series with Jason Statham and the series Shameless where she played an adored recurring character.
