Anna Silk was the first daughter of Peter Silk (an academic) and Ilkay Silk (a playwright, actor director, producer, and teacher in St. Thomas University). Anna Silk's father was British, and her mother was a Turkish Cypriot English expat. She remembers watching her mother perform in play rehearsals. She appeared in many commercials when she was a child. Anna was transferred to Toronto in November 1999 in order to continue her acting career. After that, she settled at Los Angeles (California) over the next decade. Seth Cooperman and Anna met in Los Angeles in 2007, in an acting workshop. They became engaged in 2009 after getting married. Anna had changed her religion to Judaism and they got married in Fredericton. Bo and Lauren's relationship (played Zoie Palmer by Bo) appears on CNN's all-time favorite TV couples list.
