Emily Bett Rickards (born July 24 in 1992) is a Canadian-born actress. She has portrayed Felicity on The CW Television Series Arrow. Rickards is an British Columbia native. She started her career in acting from a young age, studying musical theatre, dance and various forms of entertainment. Her career path began early, when she graduated high school, and then attended the Vancouver Film School. There, she completed the Acting Essentials Course. Through the open audition following it was discovered that an agent had been found for her. Alida Vocal Studio taught her. Her chemistry between her and Stephen Amell, positive feedback from the fans, and her sarcastic remarks led to the initial contract for one episode as a Guest Star.
