Harry

Harry Edward Styles is an English singer, songwriter and musician from England. He was part of One Direction. Born in Holmes Chapel (Cheshire), England the 1st of February, 1994. He is the son Des Styles, and Anne Cox. Harry Styles, a former student of the Holmes Chapel Comprehensive schools formed a group called White Eskimo together with three of his fellow students. In 2009 they participated in the Battle of Bands where thanks to their excellent presentations they took home the trophy. While he's always fascinated by music, he also aspired to become an lawyer or an physiotherapist. In the past, he was employed as a part-time baker in his city to help people financially in the home. Harry Styles, in 2010 was a contestant on The X Factor. His single Is not She Lovely was performed by Stevie Wonder. This meant that his band needed to be separated. Nicole Scherzinger was the judge who recommended Harry Styles to be part the group that would later be called One Direction, along with Liam Payne Zayn malik Niall Horan Louis Tomlinson. Simon Cowell sponsored five teenagers to join the group in 2010. The band of five was backed by Cowell, and they sang Kelly Clarkson's My Life Would Suck without You as well Bonnie Tyler's Total Eclipse of the Heart. They were among the best contenders for the contest. Despite this, they finished third in front of Rebecca Ferguson. Harry Styles, his group as well as Cowell were not able to take home the prize. However Cowell provided Harry Styles a 2 million dollar contract with Syco.
