Anya Taylor-Joy

Anya Taylor Joy (born April 16th, 1996) was born in Miami Florida. A half English as well as Spanish She is the child of Dennis Alan Taylor a former banker and Jennifer Marina Joy a psychologist. The daughter is an Argentinean who has Scottish, English and Argentinean descent. She is Spanish with English roots. Taylor-Joy is the youngest of five children. Four were born to Taylor's father's previous marriage. Buenos Aires was her home until the age of six when the family moved into Victoria within London. Taylor-Joy explained that the move had been difficult and that she was unable to pursue a degree in English in the hope of return to Argentina. Hill House had to be her new school after she switched from Northlands. She later enrolled at Queen's Gate School where she was a ballet student and performed in school productions. In her 16th year she left school and pursued a career as an actress full time. From a young age Taylor-Joy was aware of her desire to be an actor and her goals were realized after she was offered the opportunity to model Sarah Doukas the founder of Storm Management.
